That Thinking Feeling is a psychology blog. From their “About” section: That Thinking Feeling is a response to missing teaching, but also to everyone who’s ever said to me, “Hey, you’re a psychologist. Can you explain why…?”
Client came up with the concept of using the brain represented as a thought or dream bubble.
Client stressed the importance of anatomical accuracy in the logo. Certain brain ‘landmarks’ needed to be included; the lateral gyrus (runs underneath ‘thinking’), cerebellum (small blob at lower right), pons (small blob just to left of cerebellum) and the two small blobs below the pons representing the top of the spinal cord.
I used a playful script font to entice readers and communicate that while Dr Clare Jonas is an expert in her field, the blog is accessible and entertaining.
